Generosity Water was built on individuals who simply used what they had to make a huge difference in the lives of people in developing nations.
We gave up birthday gifts, meals, and wedding presents. We ran marathons, hosted fashion shows, and hiked mountains. All in order to help others get clean drinking water. It was just individuals like you and I that believed we could impact the world--one water well at time.
This is why we created MyGenerosityWater.org--to give YOU the platform to use YOUR talents, YOUR birthday, YOUR influence to change the world. Be creative and come up with something we haven’t thought of yet or visit our Fundraising Ideas and Tips page.
Each well costs $3,000 to fund and provides clean water for 300 people. We are currently focusing on 4 countries in need: Liberia, Ghana, India, and Peru. You raise the money (be as creative as you like), we'll get the well built, and then report back to everyone who donated on your page with photos from the village they impacted!
You can get started by donating to someone else’s page or set up your own. Either way - lets change the world, one water well at time!
I was flabergasted when I saw an ad in a magazine saying that for a lousy $10 I could give clean water for a child to drink for a lifetime. I have wasted so much money here in Vegas and I feel guilty.
Salma Hayak goes on TV saying that 25,000 children die each day in the world. Well, I want to help by raising money for this cause
